Hilton HHonors - Hilton Product Placement - Films, Book, and so on...

First, I did a search @:-)

Although I've seen discussions in other forums about product placement, I haven't bumped into any here in the Hilton forum yet.

It occured to me while watching Flightplan yesterday. We get to hear that someone stayed there and then even get to see the guy's bill.

FWIW, I didn't catch if it was:
1) an award stay
2) how my HH points he's going to get.
or
3) if he used two names (you know, like a Gold's/Diamond's name, with his name underneath, in case he checked in without him but wanted the benefits)

If anyone picks up on these important points, feel free to reveal ;)

I noticed the folio a couple of weeks ago when watching the film too. Don't remember the details on it though -- I don't think I was thinking about his Hilton HHonors points or status when I saw it. :)

FYI... except in rare cases, companies almost never pay for the product placement. They probably gave them product in kind - free rooms for the cast and crew or studio.
