Hi All,
I've booked myself on CX from mel to hkg. I am a member of QF frequent flyer program, I have given my Membership to my travel agent to process. Recently I found out that you can check in online with CX, but it seems you need to be a member of asia miles to do so? My question is, can i still check in online, with asia miles, while my ff points still get forwarded to my QF ff acount?
Thanks for your help
regards,
Henry

I don't think so, as you gave your QF membership to them, so computer thinks you are only QF member.
But I think what you can do is ring MPO and give them your Asiamiles number instead of QF, then check in online, when you arrive the airport, change it back to QF in order to earn QF points. (If you really want to earn QF miles and if you really want to check in online)
Hope this help

I think it's also because you used a travel agent that you might not be able to check in with your QFFF number in the booking.
I recall being able to check in online with my BAEC number in the booking, but that might have been possible because I booked through the CX website, logged into my MPO account during the booking process, and changed the FFP to BAEC during the booking process. (I wanted to have my BAEC number in the booking in case there were op-ups to be had. No such luck LHR-HKG, as economy had several empty seats.)
And welcome to FT, kaktusdigital. :)

Thanks for the Prompt replies CX100Silver & jjpb3.
I probably wont bother with the asiamiles check in online thing anymore. I just wanted to see if I could get exit row seats. I'm going on my honeymoon and my wife hates flying, thought it might make things slightly better hehe :p
Anyways,
Thanks for the help!
