Air New Zealand Air Points - AirNZ award seats

Hi all,

I've read varying comments about how far in advance AirNZ release award seats.

Using the Aeroplan site, I'm finding seats (LAX/AKL) available from November through mid-December. Trying to stay through Christmas is presenting a problem.

Does anyone know what the blackout dates are on AirNZ? Any thoughts on how far in advance the seats are released?

Do you want the return flight in January 2006? Good luck - you will need it. That is the very busiest time of the year. Can be difficult to find reasonable paid seats let alone awards, at this late stage.
