I've got one of those pre-paid netsaver reservations at the Redington Beach Hilton for this weekend - now here comes Hurricane Wilma.

American let me postpone my air travel and will waive penalties when I rebook. Haven't talked to Hilton yet - the net saver rates are supposedly "non-refundable". Anyone had any experience under similar circumstances? Thanks.

Assuming that your hotel is in the direct path of Wilma, I am sure that the hotel will agree to POSTPONE your stay. I would speak directly with the manager.

I had a similar prepaid rate that conflicted with an earlier hurricane this year. I think calling the hotel directly works best, they were willing to change the date of my stay.

Just spoke to the Hhonors line - they agreed to both cancel the reservation and refund the full "non-refundable" amount. Guess noone's taking chances with any customer service issues since Katrina and Rita. Thanks.
