Anyone have any experience w/PL in the Northern VA/DC area? Not much info on BFT, and the going rates are pretty steep, especially for long term.
I'd go as low as 2*, since my needs are mostly a safe place to sleep.

You may want to look under the Washington DC Area forum there instead of the Washington DC Area Suburbs - VA/MD.
What do you want to know exactly? We do a lot of Priceline bookings for the area.
http://p070.ezboard.com/fpricelineandexpediabiddingwashingtondcbaltimoreno virginia.showMessage?topicID=507.topic has the hotel list under Arlington, Alexandria, Springfield, etc. in there.
Prices? There are some data points for Alexandria and Arlington (including Crystal City) in there that are still reflective at least for certain times of the week:

A further note: on occassion, we are finding Hotwire to actually be more competitive than Priceline. And that I find rather unusual.

That's a good thing. No idea about NW Mass. ... unless you are interested in Mass. Avenue in NW DC.
