I am planning a 3 night, 10th Anniversary getaway for my wife and I next June and have narrowed it down to either Snadestin or Marco Island. I will be using reward certificates and I am HH Diamond. I have looked over several previous threads but would like to know the opinion of other FT'ers as to which location would provide the optimal experience. Things to consider would be avaialblity of upgrades, quality of beaches, restaurants nearby, etc. Thanks in advance for your responses.

Let's see - the Redneck Rivera, or beautiful Marco Island on Florida's SW coast? You'll love Marco Island. More upscale places to dine/shop. A short trip to Naples' Fifth Avenue is a real treat for an anniversary. However, in June, the mosquitos on the golf course of Marco can carry you away. Bring the wife to Marco, and leave the clubs at home!
Last thought - you should get <$150 rates in June - might be better off without the certs!
