Hi All,
I thought about posting this on the Credit Card boards, but I know all the Starwood AMX card holders really live more on this board.
So I just called AMX because I wanted to move the date my Starwood card was due from around the 30th of every month to the 5th of every month. We pay it in full monthly but it's always due a bit earlier than when we are flush with cash.... so I decide to call and get the date changed. Every other card we have has easily moved the due date for us over the years, so I figure, no big deal.
Customer Services says, somewhat rudely, "no, not possible, it is not possible to do this on this card" Oh. Really. Every other card I have, could not be happier to do this for me... and it's not possible. "No, if you really don't like it, you can close your account."
Geee... I didn't realize spending $5K a month made me such a bad customer for them. Don't they get like 2% from every purchase I make? And now I can just go close my account, if I want to move my payment date out 5 WHOLE DAYS.
Anyone have an experience or suggestions on how to handle this? Is it really not possible?
