Confused, I thought I’d post here. Recently received a postcard offer from Le Meridien about an offer in conjunction with AMEX for up to 50% off room rates and a 25% discount on meals & beverages at hotel-run establishments (AMX DINE), good from 29 Oct-28 Feb 2006. On the postcard it states “In partnership with Nikko Hotels International”. Going to the Meridien web site’s listing of hotels, Nikko’s are listed along with Meridien’s.

So, what does all this mean for the *wood takeover of these hotels? Thanks for any info.

Nikko has had a partnership with Le Meridien for over 10 years- don't think this is anything new in terms of the *wood agreement but rather a long term relationship between the two groups.

OK, but if the promo continues till 28 Feb ‘06, then there probably aren’t any plans for the Le Meridien/*wood linkup before then.
