South - Where to dine in Charlotte?

I will be in Charlotte next weekend, any good restaurant recommendations for the Uptown area? Dont want to spend too much money ($100 per person limit) but would like a nice meal at a place with good atmosphere...any ideas?? thanks...

Looking for some recommendations in the downtown Charlotte (Westin) area.

I'm open to all types of food at all price ranges except French.

I tend to like restaurants with a cool vibe, but good service is a must.
