Hertz - Redeeming Awards - some questions

Hello All,
I've got some questions redeeming ZE1 Awards. Any help is appreciated - I searched Hertz's website & didn't find the answers:
1) How does Hertz define Peak & non Peak? Are Su-Th considered peak days & Fr-Sa considered non-Peak?
2) What is the delivery process for free day certs? Do they mail them to you or do they send them via e-mail or do you print them out (like Hilton's awards)? It says allow 2 weeks for delivery - so I imagine its done via mail? Is it possible to get the award certs sent to an address other than the address you have listed in your profile?
3) When redeeming awards, it says that only one award can be used per reservation - has anyone tried combining the 250 point free-day vouchers? I am curious about this since the website says a maximum of 4 are allowed - but it also says that they aren't combinable on the same reservation. If its a 2-day rental, do they just quote you one day free & the other day at cost? Is it possible to add other coupons/CDP's to the paid portion of a rental?
Thanks in advance!

I'll try and answer some of your questions:
1. Peak and non peak days refer to the time of year in the city you are booking. If you check the Hertz website under #1 Awards and Black Out Dates it will give you city names and dates where free day certificates are blacked out and will also give you an idea to peak periods for renting.
2. Free day certs are sent by snail mail. During the redemption process you do have the option of changing the mailing address.
3. In my experience I have been able to use a free day cert for each day in the rental. If you rent for two days you can use two certs. However if you have a rental for two days and only use one free day cert you will be charged for only one day's rental. Any CDP or coupons normally acceptable on the paid reservation will still apply and be deducted.
Hope that helps!

As for the paper certificates, they usually expire within one year. As mentioned above, they can be "stacked" for multiple free days. I have usually had to go to the gold booth upon returning the car to transact the certificates and guarantee that I got my discount.

Just a caution that all free award day certificates must have the same PC code. Can't combine free day and free weekend day, for example

Can you have multiple free day coupons applied for a rental? Say two free day rental coupon for a two day rental?

Yes, but some coupons have restrictions, such as on some international coupons you can only use one coupon and only in conjunction with a 3+day rental. The various restrictions are all spelled out on the back of the coupon. I believe that all rentals with coupons require you to return the car to the same location.

So I have a 4 day rental coming up. I have my ZE1 certificate for 3 free days, and then I have another coupon for 1 free day. If they are not the same PC number should I make a separate reservation for the 1 free day?
Thanks.

You will need to make 2 reservations.
