Independence Air iClub - My SFO flight was cancelled for 10/18/05..............

Had a noon flight scheduled out of SFO and got an email today confirming my flight on 10/18/05 on IndyAir , leaving at 2300h.! I thought this was rather subtle. I'm afraid the red-eye just won't cut it for my plans. I called and found a possible solution. Jetblue will give you $30 off a OW flight(day time) if you're an IndyAir passenger from a cancelled flight. The agent I spoke to gave me an extension at Jetblue and I was able to speak to someone who could have helped me but my name's not on thier lists from Ind.
Also I still have the problem of getting to my final destination of South Carolina. What I am hoping is that Indy will leave me with the IAD to CAE and give me a partial refund , and then I can take the coast to coast with Jetblue.
Of course to do this I would have to get an agent that was on the ball. I called back and realized it was about 1730h. in VA. and the regular offices were closed and the folks I got through to were specifically there to be inflexible.
So , question to the FT'ers , do I stand a chance of getting a partial refund and keeping my IAD to CAE flight?
On a more practical note , do you have any suggestions as to who I would call to get my name over to Jetblue on thier "daily" list from Indy. The agents I spoke with (I called back 2-3 times) sounded like deers in the headlights about this one.
And I fully expect to get the , "just get a refund!" posts , it's just not the answer I'm looking for. :p

I have no idea what pax lists you are talking about. That type of thing is proprietary, and should be given to no one, let alone a competitor.

We gave JetBlue these lists for this reason.

Depending on your original fare, it may be easier to refund the original ticket and book a new one for IAD-CAE, and then book the JetBlue flight to match up (leaving sufficient connecting time in case something goes wrong). Trying to get them to peel off half of the ticket might introduce more problems and get you stuck in Dulles with no available ticket to Columbia.

If you have a really good original fare, then you may want to try splitting the ticket. If it would work in your schedule, you may also want to look at going a day earlier, as they have the midday flight on the 17th that has a connection through to Columbia, though with Jetblue selling OAK-IAD on the 18th for $99 right now, I might just go buy that and deal with the interline connection if I could get the additional $30 off.
