Does anyone know if Centurion can sort out a table at Club 33 in LA for lunch, or is anyone on here a member who would like to offer me an invite?

Oh man, I'd love to hear if that is possible! Anyone know?

One can only phone lifestyle up and ask! Back int he days when AmEx was the official card of Disney I doubt it would be an issue at all....

Thanks,
Richard

A google search will probably fill you in, but basically, in New Orleans Square in Disneyland, there's a private, member's only club with good food and alcohol (the only place to get a drink in the entire park). It's decrated with original concept sketches for the park and is a respite away from the bustle of the park.

Isn't this exactly the kind of feats Black should be helpful with?

I think that the sketches probably improve the place as opposed to desecrate it. Food is OK, but kind of neat to be in there just to say you did.

That's why I'm watching this thread with interest. On the one hand, you're exactly correct. On the other hand, Club 33 membership is VERY exclusive with a multi-year waiting list just to get an invitation. I doubt Disney wants to water that down just to let every Centurion (and there are plenty in the L.A. area, and I'm not talking big annual spenders) check the place out.

The didn’t have a clue, called up Disney dinning on the general number and were told point blankly not a chance. I would of expected them to have a corporate membership or at least tried to go through at a corporate level. To be honest I have found Centurion pretty useless with specialised request (something you would think they excel at) and fantastic at the mundane and straightforward. This is not a slur as they have gone out of the way at times for me, but when you call with an unusual request they seam to fail. I'm still waiting on a call back from last weeks request for a VIP Universal tour, will book it myself!

To be honest Flyertalk has actually performed better with a couple of emails offering invites. So exclusive Centurion 0 and Flyertalk 1, guess that Flyertalk is the new black!!!

While AMEX was the official card of Disney, I was unsuccessful in asking Platinum if this could be arranged.

I too would greatly appreciate being placed on the invite list for lunch if there are any members willing to make reservations (I am not familiar with the process and we have passes for entry into the park).

Thanks in advance.

We hold an annual event at Club 33, usually sometime in June. Should have the details in March or April...

Club 33 members can bring in guests - all you have to do is find and befriend one.

thats what I did.

One of my suppliers got me into Club 33 in March.

It has its lore within the park. As I am ringing the bell, people are taking pictures of the door.

The food was very good, however be prepared to spend more than $100 for two people, sans alcohol.

I had US Amex Centurion concierge look into this a few months ago, and they basically got back "no way" from Disney.
