Hertz - Just what qualifies President's circle?

I have been 5* for three years, but all of a sudden my cars are waiting for me in the President's circle, they are always full size or SUV (which I really don't want). I recieved nothing from Hertz, do they even notify?

Assuming you have met the criteria (40 rentals in a calendar year), by default, Hertz will not reflect your new status until April of the following year unless you ask them to.

That being said, I was treated as good (and often better) as a 5-Star as I am now as a PC, so perchance it's just that...

You will be notified via mail with your President's Circle membership package. A couple of years in a row I did not receive the package until I called them up to ask what was going on even though I had rented over 100 times each for two consecutive years.

Are you renting at the same location? I've been renting at DFW every week since April, and even before I qualified for PC, they started putting my cars in the PC line after a few months.

It could be because when there aren't enough PC renters to fill all the front-row spots, they start giving them out to Five Stars... ^

That's for the US -- the $7000 requirement has been mentioned before as an alternate qualification for PC.

I've had mine in the PC slots before and just figured they were being nice, since I just barely pick up 5* with my leisure travel rentals.

My 5* reservation was waiting in the PC area at OAK on Saturday. It just happens once in a while. (BTW, a brand new Ford 500, 6 miles.)
