Got a surprise to see the new look website. Havent checked to see if any functionality added, or (in light of problems that LH & SQ & QF have had with their website changes) if any bugs/problems.

Wonder if that was why I couldn't get onto the site last night :) Looks great though, it definitely needed a bit of a touch-up. Xiaotung Sep 29, 05, 8:31 pm Maybe they will change the Airpoints statement style and other printed matters along with the website change. ntddevsys Sep 29, 05, 9:59 pm Maybe they will change the Airpoints statement style and other printed matters along with the website change.I hope they don't - I quite like the printed matters and Airpoints statement style. It's a bit of a disappointment that this is only a small cosmetic change to the site, and doesn't encorporate a new booking engine which allows people to book rewards on international sectors. taupo Sep 29, 05, 11:10 pm I like the look of the website, but it is lacking the C$3,000 SFO-AKL-SFO Bus Prem fare I am looking for ;) mad_atta Oct 1, 05, 1:05 am Much nicer look and feel than the old one, and nice consistency with the new branding... so an improvement, if only a cosmetic one. I couldn't help noticing that it's very similar to the new Thai website (with the top banner with logins, menus etc), which in turn is similar to the old SQ one (which I preferred to their new one, incidentally). The images used on the NZ sites lift it above the others appearance-wise, though. (For a reminder of just how ugly the NZ site was, go to 'worlwide sites' and select Korea. Ugh!) |
