Hertz - Monthly 5* Account Statement

Today was the first time I received an emailed account statement from Hertz. Is this something new?

Not limited to 5* either. Mine doesn't have anything about qualifying, just the points, but I did get a summary email this morning.

Also has a reminder of the upcoming 100 ZE1 point automatic bonus, and there's mention of an extension of an offer that I thought was the "birthday bonus" but isn't: 300 bonus ZE1 points on a weekly/150 on a weekend. A thread I found mentioning the other bonus said you got 300 for a weekend, so I guess that's still better. :D (I haven't had a rental recently where the bonus point PCs would price for me.)

CrazyOne - are you gold or PC? Just curious - as 5* aren't eligble for the 100 auto-bonus points (which pisses me off since I just made 5 star & have about 8-12 more rentals scheduled & I called and asked to be bumped up to 5* - I'd rather get the 800-1200 extra points than the possible upgrades)

I'm still plain gold right now. Sorry, I guess I should have been clear there. When I said "not limited to 5*" I meant us lowly non-elites also got a summary. :D

BTW, the offers mentioned in the email were already posted in the coupon code thread by ferrari_fan.

It's weird that 5* isn't eligible for the 100 extra points. I'm only on 4 rentals, so if I make 5* it'll be right at the end of the year. Plus, most if not all of those wouldn't be weekend rentals anyway, so I won't really see much if anything from this bonus.

I got the same thing but "qualifying rental balance" was 9 but should be 31.

Did it show you with 1 rental day earned? I'm not exactly sure, but I have a hunch that the qualifying rental balance is reset after every 15 rentals (and those 15 rentals converting to 1 rental day earned), and that this is not a calendar-year calculation, but rather an ongoing one. Just an educated guess, as none of this shows up on hertz.com's online statements.

Query: Does any 5* or PC member show a qualifying rental balance > 14?

I have less than 15 but my rental balance was low too (I think it said 5 instead of 8 or something like that).

There was a note in the emails a month or two ago that said they were going to start including the points and rentals in the monthly emails, so I've been looking forward to this.

I guess I had better check what email address they have for me because I did not receive any statement. Is everyone supposed to get this now?
