The federal bankruptcy court has just approved the HP/US merger -- the last hurdle to have been cleared. Start the countdown. . .

According to Press Release on usair.com site, the Judge has approved US Air's Bankruptcy plan, which effectively means that barring any 11th hour attempt to block this by a creditor over the next 10 days, the merger is a done deal. Obviously not a surprise.

Hopefully more details of the new and improved Dividend miles program, etc will start to come out now.
