The trip from hell...

IT was a dark and stormy day...

Sat. get on BA flight from London to O'hare. O'hare closes flight sent back to London. No possible diverts in the US according to pilot. Sunday, upgraded all F class passengers to Concorde...JFK closes. Finally make it back Monday...surprise no luggage.

... and now we have to find out how you get at least all flight miles (also for the unsuccesful tries!) ...

Phil.. check with B-A and see if you have to fill out those mileage request forms. UA has them and the gate agent at DFW filled out mine. (now I'll probably have to wait months for credit... so far it has NOT happened.)

Our B-A experts Merry and BaoBab maybe could
advice you on this. As long as you have boarding passes you should get credit. Write
B-A, I'm sure they'll get you the miles your deserve.

It's nice that they bumped you to the Concorde. Too bad JFK was closed (now I know why I could not get home!) CATMAN

Got my UNITED miles ALREADY! It was funny with JFK JFK was open for awhile, but the ROADS around the AIRPORT were closed. JFK looked like it was going to fall apart.

Anyone know BA's address?

THe NYC airports are wierd. A little weather problem and they start to shut down.

I remember Holly and I were to take a flight from LGA to Providence on the little plane.
It started to rain. Most flights cancelled.
Holly almost had a cow. So we had to go across the city to Penn Station to take Amtrak back to Providence. She was NOT in a good mood for awhile.

It was MY suggestion to take the plane to save some time (and get some Delta miles!)
