As HP is not in the AMEX Membership Rewards program, I wonder if the new USAirways will remain. Anyone hear anything on this yet? Is it maybe a good idea to pour some points from AMEX-->US now if we anticipate needing them in the next year?

My guess is we will get at least 30 days notice of a termination - but you never know. If you absolutely, positively have to have US Airways miles, why not do it now?
I believe Hilton is notorious for giving very little notice when the dropped Delta and United - maybe only 48 hours or so. Easy to miss a window that small.
