Travel Technology - Potentially ignorant question: burn MP3 or AAC to CD readable format?

I like many people have a bunch of (legally) downloaded music. Most of it is in AAC but some is in MP3.

Is there a way to burn this music onto a CD that I can play in an ordinary CD player, like the one in my car?

I would buy something like the Griffin iTrip, but I hear that it doesn't work all that well.

TIA.

Question withdrawn. It looks like iTunes permits this.

People seem to like the Monster equivalent to iTrip. It's a car charger with built-in FM transmitter. It is able to draw more juice for a better signal. The iTrip, otoh, is powered by batteries.

swise, you work for AAPL, right?

You've gotta be smiling about your 401(k).

Well I don't have the ability to purchase shares of AAPL through my 401k, but I am smiling about my employee stock purchase plan shares. These are bought at a 15% discount every 6 months. Some have more than quintupled in value.

I've had okay luck with the iTrip out on the open road, but in big cities where the radio spectrum is crowded, no FM transmitter works super well...

You rock. I dream of someday working for a company where I can rake it in. My last two companies where I had/have equity participation:

Company A: went bankrupt.
Company B: totally stagnant.

Good thing my career is going reasonably well otherwise.

The Belkin car charger with line out, hooked up to the stereo line in is a good option. I have my nano hooked up to my hacked CD changer cables of my Mercedes :D

Well, it's always a risk. Four years ago AAPL lost half its value overnight. I had to sit tight for two years before it started to creep up to the levels it had been before November 2000.

That sort of drop could happen again at any time. The chances are low right now but not out of the question. Just look at what happened to New Orleans -- and, of course, Enron. That's not to say that I think Apple will get flooded or suffer massive corruption. But there's always a chance that things will go suddenly awry in some way.
