Hertz - Hertz points ?

I have been having my Hertz rentals accrue to my airline ff accounts in the past, but last week, I did not fly, but took the train. I decided to accrue my "points" to Hertz Rewards. I have not been able to find any details on this program. Does it still exist? Is it worthwhile ?

In the absence of a hotel promotion such as Marriott or Prioirty Double points, Hertz points are more valuable than airline or hotel points, in my experience. Obviously this is only true if you need free rental cars on your trips!
