I am taking a trip this weekend and desperatly need a camera/video camera to take with me. The main thing is that it must take video and be able to hook up to my Mac so I can convert and upload it, thus burning it to a disc after. The camera/camcorder also must accell at low light recording as that is what will be mostly going on. I am not looking to spend more than $500 on this. If you were curious for pictures and video I used a Canon Powershot SD300 4MP digital camera with a humongous memory card -- the video and sound was actually quite good but not surprisingly it is horrible in low light situations. I hope for the colors to be true also. Thank you in advance for your recommendations and hopefully someone will be able to point something out and it's off to Best Buy first thing in the morning, haha.

Sorry if this is a little garbled -- I typed it in a rush, preparing for my trip. Thanks again.

Edit: I am looking at the Canon ZR200 but i'm not sure how that would be in low light even though it does have a CCD. Would it be better than the Powershot SD300 in video mode? And then people tell me to get Sony...I just don't know what to pick. Ugh...I wish I had more notice to do more research.

Upon much research it would seem the Sony Handycam DCR-HC32 would be perfect. From what I hear it has great low light capabilities and sound. The included software is suppose to be a nightmare but HOPEFULLY this camera is Mac compatible and iMovie should take care of uploading any films for me.
