Rented a mustang gt this past weekend, and checked the contract and it was marked as a YH, even the key had the D x'ed out and a YH was there instead - so if I understand correctly, are mustangs now considered a specialty premium vehicle?

Last I checked, D class is still available - stuff like the Toyota Celica, Oldsmobile Alero (!!). 2005 Mustangs have been YDs, and yours may have been a YH because it was a GT? I've never seen a GT at Hertz before.

Yes in fact, it was a GT.

What city did you get a GT Mustang?
What did it cost?

Rented in Montreal, and I've already rented 3 GT's in the past from there (silver, red and brown), used the freedom rates, so it came to a little over $20/day (reserved fullsize)
Pretty much the same ride as the V6, except it has the V8 - 300hp, the fog lights, leather seats and shaker 500 audio system (way better then the stock one)
