Hertz - Upgrade chance at DCA

Any info on Hertz at DCA? What are the upgrade chances here? I don't need the car the first day but will use the metro to pick up car the second day. Any times better than the other to pick it up? Thanks.

It doesn't seem like they have a large number of cars (compared to IAD and BWI at least), so that may help your chances if they run out of the lower-rung models first.

My only experience there was that I reserved a C, but a Solara convertible (guessing it's a YD?) was sitting in my stall. ^

Rented a Full Size and I had my choice of two Tauri (for some reason, two cars were attached to my reservation). At the time, however, I was just 5-Star and I was one-waying to BWI.

And I believe Convertibles are Class U, so a Solara should be a YU.

Just back from a week trip from DCA down to Virginia Beach and back, got the Jag XJ8L - rough riding, no trunk room, recommend the Volvo Cross Country - but I'm only a 5-star.
