For those that are having problems getting the airline seat power to
work.

The seat connector spec at the url below shows a requirement that the
small pins (6,7) be loopbacked on one another to activate the power at
the big pins.

one of my small pins was broken when I tried to insert it into the seat
connector.

Inspect the small male pins on the wired connector to insure they are
not bent. Straighten if necessary.

Inspect the small socket pins in the seat connector (lift the arm rest)
to insure they are not blocked. Do not try to insert the empower
connector if the socket is blocked with a broken off pin.

I verified with voltmeter that the large pins do not have power present
without the enabling jumper on the small pin sockets.
