Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus - Transit Arrangements at BKK

I am flying LHR-SYD next month-Business Class.-Flight TG911 to BKK then TG993 BKK-SYD.What are the transit arrangements at BKK.Will my luggage automatically be transferred from 911 to 993
(presumably they are different planes).When will the new boarding passes be issued-presumably there is a transit desk near arrivals.Will handluggage have to go through inspection again?
Details of procedure would be appreciated as this is first time at BKK

Luggage can be checked through all the way to SYD from LHR and boarding pass can also be issued at Heathrow (assuming your connecting time is less than 24 hrs, i.e. considered as transit and not "stopover").

Hand luggage will be x-rayed (and you will go through a metal detector) - there is an x-ray machine "set" - two or three machines" - at the entrance to each set of gates. You leave the plane, there will be several TG staff telling you where to go for transit (it's upstairs) and then you find a Business Class lounge and relax. They will call you for your flight from the Lounge

make sure you use the new lounge its superb, well say new its over a year now since they opened it.

Keep in mind gates can be very far apart so give yourself enough time to walk to the gates and at some times the security lines are pretty long.

Thanks Steve and 1ohiadk.If the planes are on time I have only 1hr 50min between flights.Bearing in mind your time remarks what is the best procedure between arriving and transferring to the new departure flight.

I would go to the new lounge then it is kind of central to the international terminal and it is one of the best in the world, see if they have the free massage still.
