American Express Membership Rewards - AMEX Online Bill Payment

A little bit duplicitous... when you try to pay your Platinum Amex card online, they offer you the chance to pay more than you need to, including the amount charged since the billing date. When you try to pay a DL Platinum card online, they prominently offer you the ability to pay less than the total amount so that they can make some $$ in finance charges off you.

I would not say it is <<duplicitous>>, but you do need to pay attention. I always logon as soon as the statement is available and schedule the payment for the due date. Last month I evidently neglected to click the button to select the full amount, because only the minimum payment was processed. I immediately submitted a second payment for the difference, and customer service agreed to remove the finance charge.
