Starwood Preferred Guest - Update on L'Amphitrite Palace opening/SPG level (Morocco)?

Back in February a Starwood press release said that this hotel would be opening in Q2 2005. However it is not yet showing available on SPG.com:

I will be in Morocco Oct.31st-Nov13th and would consider using some points here, especially now that the Fes and Marrakesh Sheratons are no longer.

I am interested as well for next March/April. If anyone knows when this hotel will be available, please post a reply.

Nope. But, IIRC, missydarlin was in contact with this hotel via email, I think. If so, she used reservations.0146@luxurycollection.com as this is their published email address. Otherwise, I suppose they could be reached via fax at +212-37-621010.

Has anyone learned when this hotel is expected to open?

I inquired directly with the hotel. It is open, but not yet affiliated with Starwood. All of the amenities (for example, the thalassotherapy pool) is not yet available to guests. You can contact them directly to inquire re: reservations based upon their email, etc. on the Starwood site.
