Traveling South African Airways IAD to JNB in business class. Figure this is the best forum to find frequent SAA fliers. Any word on lounge access for business class flyers departing on SAA. Given the SAA web site problems in another thread (I agree with the sentiments there), not surprising their site doesn't provide any info about IAD.
IAD's site says flight departs from Terminal A but IAD's terminal map says flights serviced by Terminal B and lists no lounge in the map's lounge column.
Thanks in advance!

Not to bump. But, the answers are always right in front of you - sort of.
Yesterday, while on the phone with SAA regarding an upcoming routing via IAD to JNB, I asked this same question. The answer is that SAA departs from gate B-32 at IAD. SAA has contracted with Virgin Atlantic to have them handle check-in and business class travelers can use the Virgin lounge at IAD.
Simple, easy, answered.
On another note, the SAA rep informed me that on this routing (IAD-JNB) SAA is using 747s (they use Airbuses on the their routes to JFK and ATL) and that they are in the process of modifying the planes from their older partial lie flat beds to full lie flats (according to the rep. the same seats as the Airbuses). I don't know if that's possible (e.g. Airbus equipment on a Boeing), but the rep. was adamant that they are moving to full lie-flats on the Boeings.
