American Express Membership Rewards - Anyone else have their 41 cents from the class action suit removed?

I have two Optimas - one that I never use anymore. Both got the 41 class-action suit credit, but I just saw on this month's statement that the card that I never use had the credit removed and my balance is back to $0 instead of -.41. I suspect there's some fine print somewhere that says if the credit wasn't used in a specific time period it would be removed, but I'm not too interested in taking the time to check it out. I am curious though if anyone else had this happen or knows if my suspicion is right. FWIW, I'd much rather see them remove it than keep paying postage to send me statements showing this credit.

I have $0.41 on my Blue card, which I never use. The funny thing is, I'd gone 2 years without a purchase, so they didn't mail me statements; once the credit appeared, however, they started mailing me statements again. This happened despite that I'd requested electronic statements, which I do receive for my Gold card. If I could remember to put the Blue in my wallet, I'll use it at Safeway or something, as I'm planning to cancel it.
my .41 cent credit disappeared this month too. I noticed it today on quicken when i download my account info. Oh well easy come easy go.
I think the cost of reading & repling to this thread cost me more than $.41!

I know some charge card holders received checks for twenty-eight cents.

I believe if you have a credit on your account of under $1 (total balance due) they just remove it rather than issue a check. If the credit balance is over $1 after a month, they will send you a check.

41 cents!
Reminds me of a chapter in a book I picked up at a US airport entitled 'Unusually Stupid Americans' - there was very amusing chapter on stupid lawsuits liek the inmate that tried to sue the US Prison board ofr over $190m because they didn't have salad bars inside. But it was the topic about huge lawsuits that were won, but I say a win in the case of the lawyers on the case as the actual net end result to the plaintiffs was tiny, non-existent or actually in one case for a mortgage customer much worse off (they got charged a fee to cover the legal costs of the lawsuit that had been raised agaisnt the issuer!).
Slightly OT I know but to try and bring it on topic - today Mastercard have had their fees questioned by the UK Office of Fair Trading:
