Apparently it was a little bit tideous when they first started the evacuation flights. Airplanes are arriving and departing at the rate of 4 per hour and because of several problems they were encountering with enplaning so many people FEMA ordered the first US flight to return to CLT before it could land in MSY yesterday.
US has been overwhelmed with crew members volunteering to work the flights; I think they said they were flying a total of 4 round trips between MSY and Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.
I hope they can do the same for the people in Mississippi, they seem to be getting the short end of the stick as far as aid. It's good to see people pulling together to help each other out though, I wish there was more we could do.
