Hi Everyone...

I rarely fly US Air... but have some miles that i wanted to give away...

1) can i just give them to any other Member?
2) is there a limit?

I looked at the USAIR.com site to no avail and tried using the search but it's not working.

Thanks in advance.

Give -- NO. You can however redeem an award for a friend if you have enough miles.

.. so you cant give miles to a friend? Presumably they are trying to redeem for something. Redeem for them, then have them pay you back with something else (eg redeem miles for you in the future).

If you don't have enough miles to buy your friend a ticket, supplement the "orphan miles" with American Express Membership Rewards points, i-Dine miles, or e-mail signup bonuses. Remember also, offpeak awards start in two weeks--it'll take 20,000 rather than 25,000 miles to redeem for a free ticket.

Or donate them to charity.
