South - Austin Hotel - for a UT function

Can someone recommend a hotel or B&B? I will be there for a UT function. Does someone experience getting Austin hotels through Price line?

If your event is on a home football game weekend, I would suspect that Priceline (and general) availability might be severely impacted (especially close to the campus).
