US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-2005 America West merger) - How can I get an int'l award tkt to Asia from ME ?

I've been trying to issue a couple of award tickets in business or first class from the Middle East to Asia for the past couple of weeks, but the Gold Preferred desk claims there isn't a single seat available on any of the half dozen or so relevant Star Alliance partners. They won't wait-list me on any of the routes either.

Does any of you know an especially helpful CS agent who is more resourceful than most? I'm trying to to extend an anniversary trip with the wife, and would hate to pay $10K or so for the extra tickets when I have hundreds so many US miles...
