I've spent some time considering this chart to see what exactly the US Airways and The Star Alliance Network Mileage Earnings (http://www.usairways.com/dividendmiles/earningmiles/flystar.htm#star) means for actual preferred mileage earnings in my account.
My question centers on "What exactly does Class-of-Service Bonus Mean
For example, I have pasted the earnings description for Thai Airways below. Does this mean that if I fly 2,000 air miles on a Thai Airways first class ticket, I receive the following?????
1.) 2,000 base miles
2.) 2,000 CP Elite Bonus Redeemable Miles
3.) 1,000 Preferred Miles Class of Service Bonus
4.) 1,000 Redeemable Class of Service Bonus Miles
Thai Economy Class:
500 minimum miles per segment or
actual miles flown
Thai First Class:
50% Class-of-Service bonus
Thair Business Class:
25% Class-of-Service bonus
