US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - CP numberView Full Version : CP number zsmith2 Aug 26, 05, 1:20 pm I just turned CP and wondering if someone could PM me with the CP rez line and CP DM customer service numbers. Thanks in advance! EnvoyBoy Aug 26, 05, 1:33 pm Congrats and welcome to the wonderful world of CP! I'd suggest you call your old Gold number and have them transfer you over to the CP line. The CP folks will then confirm your status and give you all the numbers and info you need. CPs are hesitant to give out the number because you don't need to prove "CP" status to make use of the benefit that puts you atop the list of those waiting for an international desk agent. That said, all CP agents are currently being trained on international travel--some but not all can handle your needs. I hope this doesn't disappear post-merger, just after we finally got this perk we've been wanting for years. CPRich Aug 26, 05, 2:28 pm Call any US Number - when you type in your DM number and PIN, it will pick up your status and automatically route you to the right queue. I you are within the 3 day window of waiting for miles to post and status to upgrade, ask the CSR to look it up and give you the number/transfer you. BNAChairman Aug 26, 05, 2:52 pm FWIW, HP would not give me the Platinum number over the phone after my status match. I had to wait for the card in the mail. Not sure if US is as tight fisted with the CP number when folks reach their status or not. US AIRWAYS FAN Aug 26, 05, 3:06 pm NO US Airways is not like that at all. pitflyer Aug 26, 05, 6:48 pm PM Sent! Enjoy the number ... though I used it a few days ago and it wouldn't go through (maybe they're finally catching onto me LOL) phillyflyer Aug 26, 05, 10:31 pm Welcome to the wonderful world of the CP personal liaisons - they are truly outstanding! Like others have mentioned before, the automated system will reroute your call once you identify yourself with your DM number. One important detail however: any reservations you made prior to obtaining CP status will be queued for upgrade based on your status at the time of booking (i.e., 1-day for SP and 3-day for GP). Make sure to ask the CP desk to cancel your old upgrade request an place a new one. You will love the 7-day upgrade window! :D zsmith2 Aug 26, 05, 10:44 pm Thanks phillyflyer for the good info.....I have a transcon that I made as a GP and will definitely need my CP status on it. By the way is transcons difficult for CP's to upgrade?? ClueByFour Aug 27, 05, 12:14 am Thanks phillyflyer for the good info.....I have a transcon that I made as a GP and will definitely need my CP status on it. By the way is transcons difficult for CP's to upgrade?? Depends on the route (and bear in mind I lost CP at the end of Feb): It makes PIT/CLT/PHL-SFO/LAX on Sunday night, Monday morning, Thursday evening or Friday (especially PIT) somewhat less of a crapshoot. That said, even as a CP it got to the point where I'd go RDU-IAD-West Coast on UA and have an E+ seat on the long flight rather than suffer in US coach. Midweek, it was darned near a sure thing (sometimes at the gate, and I always check in online 24 prior when OLCI does not barf). |
