When I asked last year I believe it was 35K for single, 45 or 50K w/spouse. Call Club Administration -- I'm sure they can answer the question. 800-828-8522

So US will let you buy a membership with miles if you are CP?

I believe they will let anyone buy a membership with miles. The # of miles required changes based on status just like $.

Was that for basic membership only? Did they quote you mileage required for the UA RCC or *A access tiers?

That is good to know. I can't justify to the wife for $$ for the membership but Miles i can deduct without a problem.

Currently 40,000 miles for CP; 55,000 for CP with spouse. That covers you for one year.

I just went ahead and joined using miles. The agent politely reminded me that this is the last year this can be done.

For me, it's hard to justify the cost in dollars, especially considering no SFO club. And my company won't pay for a membership even though they have me taking trips on odd schedules. But the miles are replenished easily enough.

Yeah I so wish I had enough miles in my DM account to do this. I easily have it in my HP account but this will be over before the accounts merge. Glad you were able to get into it though.
