I am typing this from the ATH lounge of A3, having just finished my third 187ml bottle of Kritikos (a very decent Greek white wine), which is perfectly complemented by some fine peppered French cheese. The speakers fill the room with Pavarotti at exactly the right background volume. Half an hour ago I had bypassed the queues armed with my home-printed boarding pass (having already secured 10E on the Avro's right side which doesn't have a middle seat), smiling in a devilish way at OA's usual delay displays on the Departures board. On my way here from Thessaloniki, a private car had been specially commissioned to bring myself and another passenger from the lounge to the plane a mere 6 minutes before departure.
If you are still unimpressed by the above, please bear in mind that my SKG-ATH-SKG ticket cost me about 110 Euros, which is less than the price of a train ticket in 2nd class!
I'm going to make my way to the plane, I'm slightly drunk after the 4th bottle and need some time for that.... :D
