US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Question on miles from Lufthansa

I was looking at my miles from my Lufthansa trip from FRA-VCE which rates at about 360 acutal miles. Now DM says I earn a minimum of 500 miles per segment from Lufthansa but what they seemed to do was take 360 preferred actual miles and add 140 non preferred bonus miles to equal the 500. Is this the way it is supposed to work? I would have thought it would be 500 actual miles that all went to preferred status then any bonus for status (if I get those from lufthansa). Can someone answer this for me? I am in italy without access to a phone for international calls so I thought I'd ask here. I just want to make sure I understand correctly how the miles should credit from other * Alliance carriers.

yes they'll do it like this every time ... i flight several times with LH within Germany ... Everytime they set the real miles in the prefferd

But if you check your preff. miles you'll see that you got 500 minimum ;-))
It works right ...
On LH flights you won't get any longer Preff. Bonus miles ...

Thanks for the info. I did go back and add them up and even though they say they are bonus miles they did go in as preferred. Just an odd way to do it. Why not just do 500 actual miles and leave bonus blank...Oh well now I know..and it's only 500 miles.
