US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - US benefits from NW's woes?

I haven't flown NW for over a decade so I don't even know its route structure, but I'll ask the question: If NW labor strife gets worse <insert whatever reason you want>, is US in a position to grab some new customers?
