US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Bank of America Fee Waiver?

The anniversary date of my Signature Card is coming up. Last year, when I called them and said I would cancel my card, they reduced my fee from 90 to 30 and also threw in 3,000 bonus miles. However, I seem to remember hearing people on here saying that BoA won't do this anymore. Does anyone have any recent experience with this? Thanks.

I wrote BofA in June, expressing my desire for them to wave the $90 fee or I would cancel my card. Their only suggestion was to downgrade to a card that had no annual fee and they made no consolation offerings such as you received. Perhaps if I had made a phone call rather then email? :(

I tried and they only offered me their own free miles card. No fee reduction, miles, or anything. I ended up cancelling the card.
