US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Searching US.com for specific fare classes

My wife and I are flying PHL-LGW and we'd like to be able to UG outbound. Coming home, we're not concerned about having an upgradable fare and could use a lower fare basis if possible.
In the past, I've done an advanced search which pulls up & queues all of the fare classes availible for a specific route and dates. I just don't remember how I pulled up that search engine. I don't want to call in and pay the higher booking fee to get these options.
I've poked around US.com but can't for life of me find that search engine feature. Does anyone know how to get to it?
Thanks,
Barry

Envoy,
Thanks for the info. They sure do bury that search engine deep where no one can find it. I kept turning up hundreds of hits when I did a search on the site for it.
We will file Rules in the back of our minds . I must admit that London is a great dining city. My wife and I know more places to eat in London than we do in Philadelphia which is just across the river.
Thanks,
Barry

I have to echo Envoy's comment about Rules. Mrs. dukeman and I had a great meal there last year. Also keep in mind that while you can see the fares you can still only book the cheapest available fare on the "award winning" website. You will have to call International Reservations to book.

Thanks Dukeman. It figures that things were looking too easy. I guess that I'll have to eat the service fee as it's for a December trip & I'll be booking next month.
I'm kind of caught in a bind trying to find a reasonably priced ticket and waiting until the end of October when my wife and I will bump up to CP off of that June CP upgrade challenge as we complete a PHL-MAD run mid-month. I know that CPs are exempt from the fees, but I don't know how long it will take US to acknowledge our change in status.

Miles typically post three days after your travel. Your status updates overnight as soon as the necessary mile/leg hits your account, even if you're in mid-trip.
It's pretty immediate. Call your Gold number, ask them to see your new status, have them transfer you over to the CP desk, at which point they will give you the direct phone line.

I'm hoping fares will drop too. I just booked a trip to Dublin at the end of October, but if fares drop considerably I believe you can ask for the difference as it is an International ticket. As for your status -- it should change automatically on the day the miles or segments that push you over the challenge post.

Snarkiness aside, I've never found that to be true. I look at the various fares at http://fs.usairways.com/abs/fareQuote.do, then choose the corresponding price in "Search by Price". (I could also click the Info icon next to each price to see the fare code, but that takes a while.) After choosing my preferred dates & selecting flights, the website prices the itinerary using the price I selected. When I click "Fare Rules" they show the same fare code as the fare I requested, even if it's more expensive than the lowest available fare for those dates & flights. My credit card then gets charged the amount I was quoted, not the lowest available fare. I guess YMMV.

PS: Did y'all read the US v. HP "whose website do you like better?" and "whose kiosk do you like better" threads? Winner in both cases: US.

When using "search by price" this works perfectly, but doing fare combinations in specific fare classes the website doesn't work one bit.
For instance, search by price works well if you're looking for a Q fare PHL-LON and traveling Th-M as you can find one fare that will meet both outbound and returns.
If you're looking at doing a Th-Su trip, you will need to combine 2 different Q fares (one that allows M-Th travel, one that allows Fri-Su travel) in order to make this happen. Search by schedule works just fine for this, but doesn't allow you to pick the fare classes you want - it only does "cheapest available". This is where you need to get on the phone with Res to book.

I've also found it impossible to locate a "B" fare on the website, in order to try to upgrade on the spot. As far as I can tell, they just don't list them.
I use the fare quote list, and then call res.
Is there a better way?

I believe they have the ability to block certain fares from the "search by price" feature. Sneaky, sneaky. I had the same issue when I had to book my B fare last year.
Worth the price, though.

Aren't the B and Y fares listed under Economy without Restrictions? Or Coach - Unrestricted?

Some of the B fares are hidden, but yes.
