How did everyone else do? ~Ian I too flew 26 free segments (or, I should say, I will have flown 26 by the end of the month). This is actually only 6 weeks of travel which took place over the course of July and August. I booked one segment that I did not use. I'm actually surprised your pass didn't get cancelled since the terms state passes can be cancelled if you do two or more no shows... While that was one of the terms Indy didn't have any system in place 'detect' customers who missed more than two flights. s25843 Sep 5, 05, 12:46 pm I flew on 30 segments, or 10 R/Ts, for a total of $1,438 worth of airfare w/o tax, and $1,723 with tax. Since they capacity controlled those to the point that they were seats they knew weren't going to be sold anyway (according to the other posts about the difficulty to find availability) then it was a net positive for them, as little as that might seem. The marginal cost to fly one extra traveler is nearly nothing compared to the fixed costs involved in any specific flight. |
