You know these recently installed sweet looking LCD's that were installed as part of the "customer paging system"? I personally think it was a waste of money and those LCD screens should have gone to replace the circa mid 80's tv sets that display HP's departures and returns.
The one airport that comes to mind that has an awesome huge LCD display is PDX.

Who owns the TV monitors that display the HP flights - the airport or the airline?

I never understood why airports insist on keeping those old CRT monitors. The LCD's use less energy, and weigh less. I always pictured one of those CNN televisions falling on someone. Ouch!
If that trashy airport OAK can afford new monitors I'm sure PHX can.

Watch out what you ask for! In SEA, they recently installed glitzy LCD monitors and WN is threatening to move to BFI due to high airport fees! :D

These are message boards from the city, nothing to do with the individual airlines.

It looks like PHX is getting ready to install LCD flight status monitors in T-2.

T2? Why would they invest any more money in that dump when they're going to tear it down. They just remodeled T4. That's where the LCD's should go.
