Hilton HHonors - Hampton Inn - Historic St Augustine

Has anyone ever stayed at the Hampton Inn in historic St Augustine?

It's fine, but typical Hampton Inn from what I recall. Pretty close to everything. If your not in your room much it's adequate. You do have to drive a short distance to the historic area. There is a new Hilton that is suppose to be nice and believe walking distance, but have not been back since it opened. We split our stay and also stayed at the Hampton at St. Augustine Beach and enjoyed that site as well.

Have stayed at this Hampton several times, location is okay, parking is free, but be aware that it is an old property. Some of the lower level rooms have a humid mildew smell. For a few dollars more you could stay at the Hilton or the HI on the beach.
