South - Another Parking Question-Atlanta (Buckhead Area)

I'm pretty cheap when it comes to parking. I believe in a nice stay in my hotel, great amenties, and service-----but I don't like the thought of paying $30-40/day for allowing my vehicle to sit in the same spot.

With this, is there anywhere in the Buckhead area of Atlanta than anyone has experience in overnight parking thats pretty fair on the pocket book. I'm planning quite a few visits this fall in hotels very close to the Lenox Mall. Any suggestions, no matter how "far reached" would be great. ^ ^ ^

There is a MARTA lot attached to the LENOX station. It is $3/day, no in/out, and free if you leave after 11 pm. It would be a reasonable (2 block walk) from either the JW Marriott or the Lenox Inn (formerly the Sheraton). Probably not OK from the Intercontinental/Grand Hyatt/etc. Over there parking tends to be more troublesome...there might be something at Tower Walk but not much public parking in the area there.

Thanks for the reply. Most of the stays that I have are at the Intercontinental, their parking is about $25 but I still think that's steep(I know this is a oxymoron), especially when I don't need much if any in/out. I'll use your suggestion to see how accomodating the LENOX station can be.

Some of those hotels used to have free parking, but I guess those days are over. Have you tried the Embassy Suites, or do you want something more posh?

You can also park on the parking lot of the ex- 7 seas motel-sheraton. This across the JW Marriott.
