Marriott Rewards - Exchange Marriott Points for Starwood Points

I have a ton of Marriott points but the vacation place that I'm looking into only has Starwood properites. Is there a way to exchange Marriott points for Starwood points?

I don't think so, but do you have an AMEX card with membership rewards?

You could turn MR points to an award on SPG.

Best way is to find someone in the opposite situation. (Has lots of starpoints and wants Marriott stay). Then you get awards and gift them to each other.

Coupon connection is out as OP too new to utilize that option.
