Does this mean that the trial they did a couple of weeks ago (about, what? a dozen properties?) has now been expanded world-wide?

Has an updated list been posted on the website? I'm receiving bonuses for every hotel I've stayed in over the past two weeks. Not one was listed on the website. ^

Has an updated list been posted on the website? I'm receiving bonuses for every hotel I've stayed in over the past two weeks. Not one was listed on the website. ^I think that's a different promotion. I've been getting bonuses, too, and for more than two weeks. Usually a 1000 point on line bonus plus double points.

They ran this as a "beta" test a couple of weeks ago, but they only had a very limited number of properties. Apparently it was successful because, if I read the above email right, it can now be done at every Hilton property (assuming that 2200 is the total number of properties that have :)).

For me, I'd like to see an additional 5 pts/$ or something like that for Hamptons, because where I usually stay there are no suites or even upgraded rooms, the snack is a Snickers bar, and everybody gets breakfast. Gimmee da points and I'll be much happier!

I got this email last week and followed their link .... right back to the original list of a dozen properties. If the test is rolling out, they need to get the website updated.

I got this email last week and followed their link .... right back to the original list of a dozen properties. If the test is rolling out, they need to get the website updated.Right after I received the email posted by the OP (the first batch of messages were sent out on July 22nd) I emailed Hilton's Gold Desk about this very matter: that the Web site lists roughly 200 hotels participating in the VIP In-Hotel Benefit but the email claims more than 2,200 are now offering the benefits.

Their response: "We apologize for the confusion not all hotels are partcipating with the promotion at this time only the hotels listed on the website." (this is the Web site (http://www.hiltonhhonors.com/processLanding.aspx?lp=mywayhotels) they were referring to)

Still confused, I asked for more information since clearly the marketing email sent to thousands of members must then be wrong. The second reply (by a different Rep): "The 200 hotels that are reflected in the web site are the hotels that are available for the Gold and Diamond members for the extra benefits or points. The 2,200 hotels are the hotels that are participating and offered to all members for the My Way promotion."

Good communication has never been one of Hilton's strong points.

Hilton marketing is to clear communications as Paris Hilton is to propriety.

Is this per night or per stay?

Per stay.

I find it odd the ES is lower than HGI. ES is a full service hotel and HGI is limited service. Maybe the margin on ES is lower.

It’s because the regular amenities at the ES are crap to begin with.
