Trip Reports - Wanted-Trip report on Continental airlines: IAH[Houston] to LGW[London Gatwick]

Hi,My friend is travelling on Continental airlines from IAH [Houston intercontinental] to LGW [London gatwick] this week. He has never used Continental for flights to London Gatwick.He always uses British airways.But this time as the fare was cheap he decided to go by Continental.
He is a bit apprehensive about how the inflight experience with Continental will be like. The flight is a Boeing 777-200 with personal tv monitors in each seat.
Has anyone flown this flight on this segment? Please post your reviews and experiences and also about the inflight entertainment and food services .Also is it on time mostly?Thanks.

Havent done the flight yet. will be next feb.
The earlier flight(34)seems to have a better timekeeping record than the later one(4) which is often up to an hour late but never usually worse than this.
Now that AA have moved to the North CO have the best gates so its a short walk to immigration. The extension to the baggage hall is now open so hopefully bags will be quicker
