I'm off to BKK next week, and have booked my tickets with BA in WTP. :)
Is it worth the premium? We'll be on BA 10/9 SYD-BKK vv, and as the aircraft will be a B747-400, it is better than regular World Traveller?
Hopefully someone can let me know about their WTP expereince!
Thanks & Rgds.
VH-RMM, there simply is no comparison between WT+ and WT (or Y in QF).
After samplying WT+ half a dozen times between SYD or MEL to SIN or BKK, I'm converted. Deals from BA are well priced (not much above a midpriced QF Y fare) and with better legroom, a smaller cabin and more personlised service than back in Y, you won't go back. A kicker is the full Y status credits (when credited to QF FF) and 10% mileage bonus.
Don't be surprised if a moderator moves this thread to the BA Forum, as your thread is not really a Trip Report.

First port of call must be apudme's comprehensive and essential guide to BA's World Traveller Plus: WT+ Definitive Service Statement (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showpost.php?p=4198594&postcount=5)
Seeing as you've posted this on the Trip Report forum, I'll point you towards my reports from WT+ trip to CPT last December (no photos though). In terms of length of flight and (LHR) timing, they would be quite similar to the BKK flight.

I recently took it from Tampa-London and back. There was a special promotion going on whereby it was actually cheaper than regular Y. I think it was $600 R/T. It was okay. Nothing particularly memorable. Same bad food, arrogant flight attendants. Seat was a bit better but not much. The main thing was that the cabin was quieter. I subsequently flew SAA to JNB from LHR on the upper deck (economy). Far and away better than BA who really do have a lot to learn. That said, bearing in mind that BA World Traveller is so bad, Plus is probably worth a $100-200 more.
