Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - How long till miles from hotel stays are credited?

Hi guys,

how long does it usually take for hotel miles to be credited?

Sent about 6 hotel bills to Verl more than 3 months ago! Still not credited.
Got a standard letter about 6 weeks ago though: "I'm sorry we don't have time to handle your request now".
Now then, when do they have time? :mad:

Also, I usually have to sent the bills to Verl. I always present the card at the hotel when settling the bill, but somehow the electronic data transfer rarely happens. :confused:

All this is really annoying, do you have the same problems, or is it just me?

With the M&L "enhancements", hotel miles seem to have gained importance.
After all, 4 not so cheap SAS tix balance 1 rather cheapo hotel stay. :confused:

yep, that's the fast service...

i spent some holidays in singapore last year (november), in 3 different lufthansa partner hotels like hilton, sheraton... i always present the M&M card by check-in, but never get the miles credited! wait untill march (!) nothing happens and i sent all bills to verl. after another 10 weeks and the "please-wait-letter" i finally get the miles.
i really dont understand why this kind of transaction takes ages :confused:

you should call M&M and ask further questions

I am corresponding with Verl since months to get two stays in ORBIS hotels in Poland credited, the first one was in Oct. 2004.....
The only hotel chain which works well is NH - usually it takes 2 to 3 weeks; most of the others need at least one reminder to M&M.

I still have stays with Le Meridian outstanding since 8 weeks ago, but as they aren't status miles I don't rush to get them credited.
